Admin Volunteer - book keeper

Welcome

We need a book keeper to support us at Altrincham Town Hall for 2-4hours/ week. More about this role:-

Why we want you

We need volunteers with a variety of skills and interests to support the Hall as needed.

For this Role

  • Initially based at Altrincham Town Hall, but after an initial period can be based at home.

  • 2-4 Hours per week at time/day to be agreed

  • Invoicing

  • Chasing Invoice and bad debt

  • Quickbooks management

 

The skills you need

  • Good at Accounts!

  • A friendly, polite and positive attitude.

  • Reliable and punctual, so you can be relied upon to meet the expectations of your role.

  • Team player; supporting and listening to other volunteers.

Disclaimer

  • All our volunteers receive an induction before they begin. 

  • Your first four volunteer sessions are a probationary period during which you will receive training, support and feedback and can decide if the role is right for you. 

  • You will never be out of pocket for reasonable expenses, for example travel costs. 

  • We expect volunteers to share their general availability (e.g. weekends only) and to stay in touch but do not expect a commitment of a specific number of hours. 

  • All volunteers should agree to our Code of Conduct and Volunteer Agreement.
