We’re delighted that Oyez Arts have now signed a 25 year lease to become the long-term custodians of Altrincham Town Hall.  We have secured this beautiful community building, for the future as a space that everyone can enjoy in so many different ways.​​

However, Oyez Arts has no guaranteed income. Every day we rely on weddings, classes, events, and occasional grants to keep the doors open. Yet we carry full responsibility for maintaining this historic building — funding repairs, restoration, equipment, utilities, insurance, health and safety, and supporting our small, dedicated team.

 

We need to:-

• Begin a program of restoration of the building

• Provide proper equipment for events and gatherings

• Refurbish our kitchen and bar to support future growth 

• Refresh and restore our rooms so they remain welcoming for everyone

• Create much needed storage space for everything

• Create a fully sustainable organisation.

 

These are not luxuries — they are essential to keeping this community space alive.  The paint on the walls is peeling, the beautiful wooden paneling in areas is damaged and the furniture is worn out.
