music time with popcats
Popcat’s is an hour of fun designed to inspire your little ones with music and movement. Promote confidence and social interaction. Most of all it’s about having huge amounts of fun.
Each class packed full of familiar nursery rhymes and songs, puppets, singing, dancing, makaton signing, bubbles, ribbons, soft toys, musical instruments and parachute play. At the end of the hour session there is a healthy snack available for the little ones and hot drinks available for the big ones. All included in the price of the class. Popcat and Matt will then read a story for the children whilst the adults take the welcome chance to socialise with friends, old and new.
Popcat’s is PAYG. That means there is no need to book, no upfront costs or commitment, no special materials required and no notice needed for you not attending. Life with little ones is busy and unpredictable. Not to mention expensive. Having the option to just turn up, as and when it suits you and your family, has proven to be a really valued aspect of the Popcat’s community classes.

As a mother of four energetic boys, I know how vital early child development is and how to keep things exciting.
Our dance classes get your little ones moving and having a blast! Kids learn best when they’re having fun, and we make sure every class is filled with excitement. We use props and bubbles to spark their imagination and create a lively atmosphere.
Grown-ups join in the fun, dancing alongside their little ones, which helps create special memories and strengthens bonds. Our playlists are designed to get everyone moving and smiling, and the joy of dancing releases those happy endorphins.

Half term art and craft
Look out for our Art & Craft Sessions during the school holidays, perfect for creative children aged 7 and over. Our classes are all about having FUN while learning at the same time. Children will explore a wide range of materials and techniques, think creatively, test out new ideas, and discover exciting ways to express themselves through art and craft.

DJ lessons are tailored to your skill level, whether you’re touching decks for the first time or looking to refine your mixes. With experience performing in clubs and private events, I bring practical, real-world techniques to help you build confidence behind the decks. You can learn any genre you’re passionate about, with a focus on house and techno mixing, track selection, beatmatching, EQ control, transitions, and performance flow.
I can also guide you through choosing the right gear. Controllers, mixers, headphones, and software—based on your goals and budget. All you need is a passion for music and willingness to learn.
Music production
Each session is a personalised, one-to-one hourly lesson tailored to your goals—whether you’re a complete beginner learning the basics or an advanced producer refining your workflow. With active experience in the music industry, frequent releases, and professional work composing and producing for games, film, and TV, I bring real-world insight directly into your learning.
Classes focus on practical, hands-on skills in a software of your choice, but specialising in Logic Pro (free trail available). Covering everything from beat-making and sound design to mixing, arrangement, and creative workflow.
Additional learning materials and project files are provided during lessons to help you grow both in and between sessions.
