... a community arts organisation in the heart of Altrincham, dedicated to making creativity accessible to everyone. We’ve been transforming Altrincham’s historic Town Hall -  just opposite Alty Market - into a vibrant hub devoted to arts, culture and heritage, where art, culture and wellbeing come together.​

Our Vision

Oyez Arts is located at Altrincham Town Hall, a new community space for creative learning, creative expression and personal wellbeing. It is being created both for and with the people of Altrincham and will utilise the power of creativity to improve community cohesion and inclusivity whilst at the same time retain the beautiful 120 year old Town Hall building as an affordable facility available for public hire. 

 

A place where our community will meet, create and thrive.

 

It's our intention that Oyez's dynamic creative offer will speak to the local community, adjust to needs and celebrate our individuality. Coming together in the Town Hall we’ll curate large scale community projects such as heritage arts and sculpture trails or collaborative community performances, as well as running workshops, groups, classes, courses and delivering a diverse programme of participative events.  Our focus will be on shared experiences, physical and mental well-being. Together we will celebrate cultural highlights and encourage inclusivity.

 

Any profit we make from our activities is reinvested into the running and restoration of the hall.
